Vaso is a vessel inspired by the idea of modularity found in childrens' toys; the form itself, is influenced by the Japanese art of flower arranging, Ikebana. The joinery is ball and socket thus allowing organic shapes as well as more dimensionality when building the form. Vaso is a design intended to be built upon itself. Similar to a plant, Vaso can start small and if chosen to do so, can take on larger forms. Vaso can function as a stand alone floor piece or as a table centerpiece. The base, similar to an Ikebana arrangement, acts as a water reservoir allowing full functionality as any vase would. Vaso is fabricated from Nylon 12 Plastic.
